SupWiz Guiding Principles on Data Ethics
SupWiz AI comes up as Top 3 Contender in the 2023 Data Ethics Prize, which was presented by Danish Minister of Digitization, Marie Bjerre.
At SupWiz we handle a large amount of user data from customers, members, citizens, employees, and other stakeholders. We work with large enterprises including health authorities, utility providers, and finance and therefore we acknowledge the concerns about data use, as well as AI.
We are committed to ensuring the highest standards for security, data handling, and accommodating our customers’ growing demands. This commitment is based on the following principles:
1. Transparency:
Explainable AI (XAI)
SupWiz always aims for explainable AI, with tools that show step-by-step how our algorithm/AI comes to conclusions, and where it’s possible to adjust individual steps.
Bias Adjustment
Bias can be built into algorithms and we do our best to avoid it. Ongoing automatic adjustments are carried out, and several tools are offered for efficient human inspections and analysis.
Human-Centered
We have several tools offering efficient ways to monitor if humans need immediate assistance from other humans, prioritizing personal communications with a smooth and fast transfer.
All our solutions are built WCAG compliant to ensure accessibility.
2. Intention
Conscious Partnerships
We refuse to engage with potential customers who do not uphold the same level of ethical principles.
Data Sovereignty
SupWiz keeps customers’ data separated from each other, respecting our customer’s data and we would never ever sell data or use it for any other purposes than agreed to serve our customers. We aim that people can benefit from AI and we, therefore, ensure a high level of data protection when using our solutions - achieving the objectives proposed for the EU.
Expert Guidance
SupWiz constantly monitors recommendations from authorities and data ethics organizations to ensure that we are not only compliant but do our very best to contribute with solutions to current data ethics challenges
