The price was awarded by the Danish minister of higher education and science, Tommy Ahlers, for very quickly turning top AI research into breakthrough AI software. The minister hailed our research highlighting that it “makes a difference for people and companies”.

The prize is awarded for SupWiz’ impressive AI software, which today is used by thousands of service agents benefits millions of end-users at our long list of customers and partners.

The director of Innovation Fund Denmark, Peter Høngaard Andersen, also had nice things to say about SupWiz’ AI solutions:

I have tried the SupWiz chatbot myself and you simply cannot tell if it is a human or robot helping you

Stephen Alstrup, SupWiz CEO and computer science Professor at the University of Copenhagen says:

We are extremely proud. This prize is a huge acknowledgement of our work and collaboration. I hope, it will make more companies realize the enormous value potential of using AI in customer service.

One of SupWiz’ core products is our intelligent chatbot running at our customers like One.com - an innovative supplier of web hosting services with more than 1,500,000 customers in 149 countries.

Mikkel Nedza, former Head of Business Excellence at Group One (One.com) says:

We are very happy with our collaboration with SupWiz and the new technology. In addition to a general improvement in our support, the chatbot has also been indispensable when large events occur. When many customers contact us at the same time, the chatbot is quick to learn and help.

The AI software delivered by SupWiz is however much more than chatbots and also includes intelligent ticket routing, knowledge suggestions, and more.

Leif Elgaard Høj, Business Developer at NNIT A/S says:

The AI system has enabled NNIT to resolve our tickets even faster as well as free up thousands of hours on a yearly basis for providing our customers with an even better service.

Also public institutions like the Municipality of Copenhagen see a huge potential in SupWiz’ product offering

Stig Lundbech, Director at Koncern IT, Municipality of Copenhagen says:

We are starting with the AI software in our internal IT support, where we have around 150,000 yearly internal tickets. But the technology has enormous potential in the external support of citizens where we have several million yearly interactions. We believe that this new technology will provide a better service for our citizens.

Along with the prize (called the Grand Solutions Prize 2019) follows a $200,000 grant, which is awarded to SupWiz as part of the AMAOS Grand Solutions project.
